ENG: I was allowed to order a pair of boots and write a love declaration for them as part of the These boots are made for lovin' campaign from Deals.com. I instantly knew, that I will order over the knee boots. During RTW Fall/ Winter 2013 / 2014 this trend shoe was everywhere, including Emilio Pucci, 3.1 Philip Lim, Chanel and Céline. The search for the right pair of overknees is not that easy. What works easily on the catwalk, can go totally work in real life. You have to pay attention that the heels isn't too high, the toe cap too pointed and the fabric too shiny, otherwise people may get the wrong association.
After I clicked myself through tons of online shops, I finally found these suede Tamaris boots at Zalando. The bootleg is wide enough so you can wear a pants underneath, but even with thin hosiery they don't slip down. The low heel makes them perfect for everyday life and in case you want a change, you can roll down the shaft.

Der Trendschuh war bei den RTW Herbst/Winter 2013/2014 Schauen überall zu sehen, unter Anderem bei Emilio Pucci, 3.1 Philip Lim, Chanel und Céline. Die Suche nach den richtigen Overknees ist allerdings gar nicht so einfach. Was auf dem Laufsteg immer toll aussieht, kann im echten Leben schnell daneben gehen. Ist der Absatz zu hoch, der Schuh zu Spitz oder das Material zu glänzend weckt es leider die falschen Assoziationen.
Nachdem ich mich durch sämtliche Online-Shops geklickt habe, bin ich bei Zalando auf diese Wildleder Stiefel von Tamaris gestoßen. Der Schaft ist breit genug, dass man sie auch zu einer Hose oder Leggings tragen kann, rutscht aber nicht runter, wenn man nur eine dünne Strumpfhose trägt. Der niedrige Absatz ist sehr bequem und dadurch sind die Stiefel auch Alltagstauglich und wenn man keine Lust mehr auf Overknees hat, kann man den Schaft oberhalb der Schnalle einfach umkrempeln. Ich finde sie einfach perfekt.
