Es ist zwar noch eine ganze Weile hin bis zum Herbst, aber ich habe mal wieder ein tolles Lookbook in meine Hände bekommen und will euch das nicht vorenthalten. Diesmal von Christian Dior. Die pre-fall collection. Die Fotos sind auf Hochglanz gedruckt und es war auch eine CD mit den Fotos dabei, sodass ich diese bequem hochladen konnte.
Die Kollektion ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail entworfen. Die Farben khaki, oliv und braun, sowie die militärischen Schnitte erinnern mich an den Film Pearl Harbor. Die gesamte Kollektion kann als Hommage an die Heldinnen des 2. Weltkrieges angesehen werden. Nachts trugen sie glamouröse, mit Pailetten und Federn geschmückte Kleider, tagsüber waren die Frauen kriegsbereit mit ihren Pilotenjacken. Die Bleistiftröcke sind mit militärischen Taschen besetzt und die kleider in zarten Farben wurden mit Eisenhowerjacken kombiniert. Gerade dieser Kontrast macht die Kollektion so interessant. Mir gefallen vor allem die Overkneestrümpfe und Spitzenröcke. Ich werde nach solchen ähnlichen Ausschau halten. Ich kann den Herbst nicht erwarten,obwohl es noch nichtmal Sommer ist.

The collection is designed with love for detail. The colors khaki, olive, and brown, and also the military cut of clothes remind me of the Pearl Harbor movie. The whole collection can be seen as a tribute to the WWII heroines. At night they wore glamorous dresses with sequins and feathers, during the day the woman with their pilot jackets were ready for combat. The pencil skirts have military pockets and the lace-dresses are combined with Eisenhowerjackets. It is this contrast that makes the collection so interesting. I love the overkneesocks ans the lace skirts. I will keep my eyes open for similar ones. Can't wait for fall,though is not even summer.
