Feathers, feathers on the wall...

Ich bin ein großer Gossip Girl Fan. Ich liebe die Outfits der Seriendarsteller (privat wie auch in der Serie), die Story, die Darsteller, die Serienmusik und sogar die in der  Serie gezeigte Raumausstattung. In dem Fall spreche ich von Serenas Schmetterlingsinstallation über ihrem Bett (Foto gibt es hier). Der amerikanische Künstler Paul Vilinski macht ziemlich viele hübsche Wandinstallationen mit Schmetterlingen (seine Arbeiten findet ihr hier). 

Da ich kein Fan von kitschigen Schmetterlingen bin, habe ich für mich eine Version mit Feder gemacht. 

Eigentlich wollte ich noch einen runden Spiegel in den Kreis hängen, aber habe noch nicht die passende Größe gefunden.

Wie gefällt euch mein Federkreis?

ENG: I'm a huge Gossip Girl fan: I love the outfits, the story, the actors, the music and even the interior design shown in the series. In that case I am talking about Serena's butterfly  installation on the wall above her bed (photo is here). 

The American artist Paul Vilinski makes quite a lot of beautiful butterflies wall installations (take a look at his work here). 

Since I am not a fan of  butterflies, I have made a version made ​​with feathers for myself. 

Actually, I wanted a round mirror hanging in the circle, but have not yet found the right size.

New header

Ich mache es kurz und knapp und zeige euch meinen neuen Header. Wie gefällt er euch?

(Ich weiß ich muss noch ein wenig an der Ähnlichkeit des Gesicht feilen - aber ansonsten bin ich ganz zufrieden.)

Why do they cancel the best?

Die Uni hat ja schon letzte Woche wieder angefangen und wie ich auch schon mal geschrieben habe, ist mein Plan ziemlich leer, was unter anderem daran liegt, dass wir kein Technisches (Mode)zeichnen mehr haben. Das ist total schade, weil mir der Kurs am meisten Spaß gemacht hat und von allen Kursen am meisten was mit Mode zu tun hatte (Modedesign (entwerfen und nähen) hatten wir nämlich nur komprimiert als einwöchigen Workshop, statt als regulären Kurs das ganze Semester hindurch).

Hier sind einige Zeichnungen, die während des Kurses entstanden sind.

Übrigens: das ist der 100. Post und es werden noch viele, viele mehr folgen. Das bloggen macht mir nach wie vor viel Spaß und das ist vor allem durch eure Feedbacks der Fall. Also Danke fürs lesen, kommentieren und verfolgen. 

ENG: College started a last week and as I told you already my schedule isn't really packed. One reason is that we don't have technical (fashion)drawing anymore. Which is total crap, because it was the class I liked the most.  Besides it was the class, that let my feel I really study fashion design, because it had to do with fashion (We had fashion design (designing & sewing) but compressed into a workshop-week, because the professor didn't want to teach us every week a whole semester.

Nevertheless here are  a few drawing I made during this class.

By the way: this is the 100. post and the will be a lot more, because I still have fun blogging. Mostly because of your feedback, so thanks to my readers, followers and commentators.

Book of inspiration 3

Ich habe mich endlich mal wieder mit meinem Inspirationsbüchlein beschäftigt. Hier  ist das Ergebnis. Das erste Bild ist so eine Art Übergang von Sommer zu Herbstfarben. Das zweite ist - wie ihr unschwer sehen könnt - an der Farbe Schwarz and am Rockstil orientiert. Es ist nicht ganz fertig  geworden, aber ich war sowieso nicht  so ganz zufrieden damit.

In zukunft werde ich solche Sachen auch häufiger posten.

ENG: I found time to update my book of inspiration. Here is the result. The first image show the shift from summer to autumn colors. The second one is - as you can see clearly - inspired by rockstyle and black color. I is not finished, but I wasn't so content with it  anyway.
I will post things like that more often now.

The present

Diese Illustration habe ich einer Freundin zum Geburtstag gezeichnet und auf ein Shirt gedruckt. Ich habe versucht es ihr ähnlich sehen zu lassen, indem ich ihre kurzen Haare, ihr Faible für lässige, gestreifte Shirt und Nerd-Brillen gezeichnet habe. Ich denke es kam gut an, denn sie trägt es oft.

ENG:I made this line-art Illustration for a friend's birthday and printed it on a shirt for her. I tried to make it look a little bit like her, drawing her short hair, her beloved casual shirt with stripes and the nerd-glasses. She seems to really like it, because she weaars it quite often.

Hippie illustration

Diese Illustration habe ich nach dem Hippielook-shoot vom letzten Post gemacht. Wie immer kann ich mich nicht entscheiden, ob mir die handgezeichnete, farblose Version oder die in Photoshop nachkolorierte besser gefällt.

Welche mögt ihr mehr?

ENG: I made this illustration after the hippie-look-shoot (previous post). As always I can'T decide if I like the colorless, hand-drawn version or the Photoshop colored better.

edit: Ich habe die Bilder nochmal bearbeitet und Augen zugefügt. Das sah, wenn man länger hingeschaut hat, sehr merkwürdig aus ohne Augen oder Spiegelung auf den Glässern.

ENG: I've edited the drawings and added eyes. When I looked at then before it looked quite weird without eyes or reflection on the glasses.

Mixed patterns paintings part 1

Dieses Acrylbild habe ich letztes Jahr gemalt. Als Vorlage diente ein Foto aus einem Magazin. Es hat irre viel Spaß gemacht die Muster auf den Tüchern zu malen. Ich mag solche details sehr gerne malen.

Das zweite Bild ist mit Aquarellfarben gemalt und als Vorlage dienten mir eine Holzfigur und bunte Stoffe.

Die Bilder gehören zu einer Reihe von Bildern,die ich zum Thema "Muster gegen Muster" erstellt habe. Den Rest werde ich euch auch noch irgendwann zeigen.

I made this acrylic painting last year. I used a photo from a magazine as template. It was so much fun to paint all the patterns from the scarfs. I love to paint details very much.

The second picture was made with watercolors and I used a wood-figurine and pieces of cloth as a template.

These pictures are part of a series I made, called "Patterns against patterns". The rest I will show you sometime.

The last time was so long ago

Es ist schon länger her, dass ich gezeichnet habe. Gestern habe ich mich dann doch aufgerafft und eine kleine Illustration (natürlich overdressed) gemacht. Sie ist nicht perfekt, aber sie gefällt mir trotzdem ganz gut.

Heute hab ich sie dann eingescannt und per Photoshop koloriert (auch das ist länger her bei mir und ich musste mir erst mal einiges durch Tutorials in Erinnerung bringen). Ich habe auch ein wenig mit Mustern experimentiert.

Ich habe mir nun vorgenommen öfter mal zu zeichnen und dies dann auch zu posten. Hoffe es gefällt euch.

ENG: It has passed some time since the last time I've drawn. Yesterday I snatched up and made an illustration (naturally overdressed. I isn't perfect, yet I like it.

Today I colored it using Photoshop (Here has also passed a lot of time and I had to remind myself using tutorials). It experimented also a bit with patterns.

I plan to draw more often and post it. Hope you like it.

A little bit Pink / Book of inspiration 2

Zum heutigen Outfit habe ich nicht viel zu sagen. Die Farbe Pink erinnert mich meist an Barbie. Ich habe mich davon inspirieren lassen und noch einige Seiten zum Thema: Perfekt, Pink & Plastik in mein Büchleich hinzugefügt.

ENG: There is not much I want to say about todays outfit. The pink color reminds me of Barbie. I was inspired and addes a few pages on the subject: Perfect, pink & plastic to my sketchbook.

Self-portrait with feathers

Dieses Selbstportrait habe ich vor einige Zeit gezeichnet. Ich habe beschlossen es zu meinem neuen Profilbild zu machen [auch wenn es mir nicht soo ganz ähnlich sieht ;) ].

Heute habe ich auf Vorschlag von Joy.de den Blog von street-Inspiration besucht. Ein sehr schöner Blog. Ihr Post über ihr Inspirations-Buch errinerte mich, dass ich ursprünglich auch vorhatte neben der Mode auch noch meine Werke zu posten. Hier also schon mal ein Anfang: Einige Bilder aus meinem Ideenbuch. Dort kommen Bilder aus Magazinen, Fotos, Zeichnungen, Stoffstücke und andere Sachen rein, die man kleben kann und die mich zu einem Thema

The girl's post about her inspirationbook reminded me, that originally I wanted not only to post about fashion, but also about my works. So here is the beginning: Some pictures from my Ideabook. Its where I put in everything that inspires me: Picutres from magazines, photos, drawings, remains of fabric and other stuff you can glue.
