Blackout

ENG: Today I look at the black side. Maybe I even had a blackout, while I picked the items for today's outfit post and forgot that I NEVER wear total black outfits. Wild prints and bold colors are my specialty. That's why I needed other eye-catchers to catch up - with a fringebag, cut-out heels and transparent lace top that outfit becomes OVERDIVITY-suitable again.

How do you like this total black look for a change?

DE: Heute sehe ich mal schwarz. Und zwar von Kopf bis Fuß! Vielleicht habe ich auch einen Blackout gehabt und beim zusammenstellen des heutigen Outfit Posts vergessen, dass ich NIE komplett schwarze Outfits trage. Wilde Prints und kräftige Farben sind eher mein Spezialgebiet. Deshalb müssen das andere Eye-catcher wieder aufholen - mit Fransentasche, Cut-Out Heels und transparenter Spitzenbluse wird das Outfit dann doch noch OVERDIVITY-tauglich.

Summer Kimono

ENG: My discovery of this summer are kimonos! They are not only the perfect bikini cover-up on the beach, but do look particularly well on dress or crop top and shorts. With them the outfit will immediately get a casual touch - especially kimonos with fringes and floral prints are an integral part of festivals. On many blogs and Pinterest you can find a lot of inspiring kimono outfits. In the shops kimonos are currently offered in all kinds of lengths, colors and patterns, which makes it quite difficult to choose between all the beautiful pieces in bohemain, rock chic or grungy look. 

As I unabe to take such a decision, I have bought 3 of those trend pieces, including this black lace one. Thrown over a dress, this is a elegant upgrade and is even suitable for a date with my boyfriend.

DE: Meine Entdeckung dieses Sommers sind Kimonos! Sie sind nicht nur der perfekte Überwurf über den Bikini am Strand, sondern machen sich besonders gut über Kleid oder Crop Top und Shorts. Durch ihn bekommt das Outfit sofort einen lässigen touch - besonders Modelle mit Fransen und Blumenprints sind von den Festivals kaum noch wegzudenken. Auf sämtlichen Blogs und auch Pinterest wimmelt es nur so von inspirierenden Kimono-Outfits. In den Läden gibt es den Kimono momentan in allen erdenklichen Längen, Farben und Mustern, sodass es ziemlich schwer fällt, sich zwischen all den schönen Teilen im bohemain, rock chic oder grungy Look zu entscheiden. 

Da ich mich diesbezüglich ungerne festlege, habe ich mir also auch gleich 3 von diesen trend pieces zugelegt, unter anderem diesen schwarzen aus Spitze. Über ein Kleid geworfen, ist dieser ein elegantes Upgrade und eignet sich sogar für ein Date mit meinem Freund.
