ENG: During Fashion Week Berlin I discovered a beauty brand from the neatherlands: Ellis Fass. I found a pink lipstick in my goodiebag, which is my fav lipstick ever since.
Now I tested two other shades and the skin veil foundation too. Since I am on the lookout for a perfect orange shade for quite a while now I picked color no. L402 and a bright pink color: L405. It was harder to pick the right foundation though. Normally I test such products before I buy them, but in this case I had to rely on the photo only. I went for a Fair/Medium shade S103L and the matching Concealer S203.
The hot lips lipsticks are rich in color and have a glossy texture. You should be careful not to squeeze too much color out of the pen, because there is just a little bit needed for a good and long-lasting result. I really like the vibrant and intensive colors.
The concealer is also a pen with a brush. It is easy to apply and covers all spots, but for my taste the texture could be even a little more covering.
The foundation is also easy to apply and makes your skin look very smooth, without any mask effect. It blends really easy into the skin.
All in all I am really content with the Ellis Faas products. Especially with the hot lips series. By the way: all products are free from animal testing. Only tested on supermodels is the motto of the brand.
DE: Während der Fashion Week in Berlin, bin ich auf die niederländische Beauty-Marke Ellis Faas aufmerksam geworden. Der pinke Lippenstift, den ich mitnehmen durfte, ist seitdem mein absoluter Favorit. Nun durfte ich auch noch zwei weitere Farbtöne der Hot Lips Serie, sowie die Skin Veil Foundation, testen. Die Wahl der Lippenstift-Farben fiel mir nicht schwer, da ich noch immer auf der Suche nach dem perfekten orange-ton bin. Meine Wahl fiel daher auf L402 und einen pink Ton (L405). Beim Make-Up war es schon etwas schwieriger eine Wahl zu treffen, da ich neues Make-Up immer gerne bei Tageslicht teste. Leider ist Ellis Faas hier noch nicht sehr weit vertreten, sodass ich mich lediglich auf das Foto auf der Homepage verlassen musste. Ich entschied mich für S103L, also einen Fair/Medium Ton und den passenden Concealer S203.
Die Lippenstifte der Hot Lips Serie sind satt an Farbe und haben einen leicht glossigen Glanz. Man sollte beim Auftrag daher darauf achten, dass man nicht zu viel von der hoch pigmentierten Farbe aus dem Stift herausdreht, da diese sonst schnell verschmieren kann. Das tolle an den Lippenstiften ist, dass die Farben besonders deckend, intensiv.und langanhaltend sind.
Der Concealer kommt ebenfalls als stylisher Stift daher. Der Auftrag mit dem Pinsel ist sehr einfach, allerdings könnte die Farbe für meine Bedürfnisse noch etwas deckender sein.
Die Foundation von Ellis Faas gibt es im Pumpspender. Die Farbe lässt sich leicht verteilen und mit der Haut verblenden. Die Foundation sorgt für einen ebenmäßigen Teint ohne Maskeneffekt.
Alles in allem, bin ich begeistert von den Ellis Faas Produkten. Vor allem die Hot Lips Lippenstifte sind eine Investition wert! Übrigens werden die Ellis Fass Produkte nicht an Tieren getestet. Only Tested On Supermodels ist das Motto des Unternehmens.
