90ies reloaded

ENG: The fashion of the 90ies was really colorful and shrill and many people just want to forget about their fashion experiments from this period. But now the designers brought that fashion back on the catwalks. Alexander Wang, DKNY and especially Balmain and Saint Laurent have revived the 90ies in their Spring collections. Belly tops, plaid, platform shoes, leather, spaghetti straps, metallic, Logos and other typical Styleelements of the 90ies made a return. I have picked a few of them and created a 90ies reloaded look.

DE: Die Mode der 90er Jahre war ziemlich bunt und schrill und die meisten möchten ihre Modeexperimente aus dieser Zeit einfach verdrängen. Doch nun brachten die Designer diese Mode zurück auf die Laufstege. Alexander Wang, DKNY und vor allem Balmain und Saint Laurent ließen die 90er Jahre in ihren Frühjahrskollektionen wiederaufleben. Bauchfreie Tops, Karos, Plateauschuhe, Leder, Spaghettiträger, Metallic, Logos und viele andere typische Stilelemente der 90er kehren zurück. Ich habe mir ein paar dieser Elemente geschnappt und einen 90ies reloaded look erstellt.

Soft grunge / Plaid and florals

ENG: I have already shown you my grunge inspiration post and here is the look: A soft grunge look based on Saint Laurent and Dries van Noten looks. It can be quite difficult to mix  plaid with a floral print. It will probably work out if you choose muted colors and if there is the same color hue in both patterns. Am besten ist es, wenn man auf knallige Farben verzichetet und sich in beiden Mustern der selbe Farbton wiederfindet.
