ENG: When I first saw the pleated skirt from H&M Trend, I knew that I had to have it. It is available at H&M in pink, black and gray. The special thing about it is the rigid fabric, which creates this pretty pleats. The term scuba originates from scuba diving. Inspired by diving suits designers like Michael Kors and Stella McCartney used fabrics, which are similar to neoprene for their summer collections and that is where the term scuba skirt comes from. Go for scuba fashion an dive into this new trend.

DE: Als ich den Faltenrock von H&M Trend zum ersten Mal sah, war mir sofort klar, dass ich ihn haben muss. Er ist bei H&M in den Farben schwarz, grau und pink erhältlich. Das besondere an dem Rock ist das Material, welches sehr standfest ist und daher diese schönen Falten schlägt. Der Begriff Scuba stammt übrigens aus dem Unterwassersport. Inspiriert von den Taucheranzügen haben viele Designer wie z.B. Michael Kors und Stella McCartney Materialien mit Neopren ähnlichen Eigenschaften in ihrer Kollektion verwendet und so wurde die Bezeichnung scuba skirt oder scuba dress geläufig. Also ran an die scuba fashion and abgetaucht in den neuen Trend ;)

90ies reloaded

ENG: The fashion of the 90ies was really colorful and shrill and many people just want to forget about their fashion experiments from this period. But now the designers brought that fashion back on the catwalks. Alexander Wang, DKNY and especially Balmain and Saint Laurent have revived the 90ies in their Spring collections. Belly tops, plaid, platform shoes, leather, spaghetti straps, metallic, Logos and other typical Styleelements of the 90ies made a return. I have picked a few of them and created a 90ies reloaded look.

DE: Die Mode der 90er Jahre war ziemlich bunt und schrill und die meisten möchten ihre Modeexperimente aus dieser Zeit einfach verdrängen. Doch nun brachten die Designer diese Mode zurück auf die Laufstege. Alexander Wang, DKNY und vor allem Balmain und Saint Laurent ließen die 90er Jahre in ihren Frühjahrskollektionen wiederaufleben. Bauchfreie Tops, Karos, Plateauschuhe, Leder, Spaghettiträger, Metallic, Logos und viele andere typische Stilelemente der 90er kehren zurück. Ich habe mir ein paar dieser Elemente geschnappt und einen 90ies reloaded look erstellt.

ENG: Hey lovelies, did you celebrate New Year's Eve with a bang?

Turn of the year means also blog birthday. I created Overdivity on the 02.01.2010 and much has happend since then. Thanks to Overdivity I met a lot of great people, participated in interesting projects, been to great events and learned a lot. Much has changed since my first post and I want to improve my blog's quality even more in 2014. There is already a tiny change in the layout. My contact, shop, blogroll and feature page are now on the top of my blog. The same goes for the links to my socal media accounts. A little change, that cost my lots of hours with HTML coding and Youtube tutorial watching. I am so proud that I managed it, without any majot HTML knowledge hope that I makes the navigation through my blog a bit easier for you. Happy new year, thank you for being with me for 4 years now and I hope you will stay with me for even more.

DE: Hey, ihr lieben habt ihr Silvester mit einem ordentlichen Knall gefeiert und seid gut ins neue Jahr gekommen?

Jahreswechsel heißt bei Overdivity auch Bloggeburtstag. Am 02.01.2010 habe ich diesen Blog ins Leben gerufen. Durch Overdivity habe Ich tolle Menschen kennegelernt, an spannenden Projekten teilgenommen, interessante Events besucht und viel Neues gelernt. Seit den ersten Einträgen hat sich hier viel verändert und 2014 möchte Ich noch weiter am Aussehen meines Blogs arbeiten. Am Layout habe ich bereits etwas geändert: Ihr seht oben nun einen Balken mit Kontakt-, Shop-, Feature- und Blogrollseite, sowie Verlinkungen zu meinen Social Media Kanälen. Eine kleine Änderung für die Ich allerdings mehrere Stunden Youtube-Tutorials anschauen, HTML Codes erstellen und rumprobieren musste. Ich bin sehr stolz auf mich, dass ich, als HTML Laie, das hinbekommen habe.

Und all dies, um die Navigation einfacher und die Seite für euch übersichtlicher zu gestalten.

Also meine Lieben Frohes Neues Jahr, danke, dass ihr seit 4 Jahren dabei seid und hoffe dass ihr mir auch in Zukunft treu bleibt.
