90ies reloaded

ENG: The fashion of the 90ies was really colorful and shrill and many people just want to forget about their fashion experiments from this period. But now the designers brought that fashion back on the catwalks. Alexander Wang, DKNY and especially Balmain and Saint Laurent have revived the 90ies in their Spring collections. Belly tops, plaid, platform shoes, leather, spaghetti straps, metallic, Logos and other typical Styleelements of the 90ies made a return. I have picked a few of them and created a 90ies reloaded look.

DE: Die Mode der 90er Jahre war ziemlich bunt und schrill und die meisten möchten ihre Modeexperimente aus dieser Zeit einfach verdrängen. Doch nun brachten die Designer diese Mode zurück auf die Laufstege. Alexander Wang, DKNY und vor allem Balmain und Saint Laurent ließen die 90er Jahre in ihren Frühjahrskollektionen wiederaufleben. Bauchfreie Tops, Karos, Plateauschuhe, Leder, Spaghettiträger, Metallic, Logos und viele andere typische Stilelemente der 90er kehren zurück. Ich habe mir ein paar dieser Elemente geschnappt und einen 90ies reloaded look erstellt.

Stylight

ENG: Sometimes when I post an outfit I have a matching song or video in my mind, which underlines the mood of the look. It would be far too much to put everything in one post and so Stylight is a great alternative. You can create boards (the name will change into 'looks' soon) with Instagramphotos, music, videos, Texts and articles from onlineshops.

Famous blogs like Kayture and bekleidet are already sharing inspiring boards on that fashion community page.

DE: Manchmal postet man ein Outfit und hat dazu noch die passende Musik im Kopf oder ein Video, welches die Stimmung wiederspiegelt. Alles in eine Post zu tun, kann dann schon mal zu viel werden. Die Fashion-Community Stylight ist da eine schöne Alternative. Dort kann man sogenannte Boards (die werden allerdings bald Looks heißen) erstellen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit Instagramfotos hinzuzufügen, Zitate, Musik,Videos und auch Artikel aus Onlineshops zum nachstylen des Outfits. 

Zahlreiche bekannte Blogs wie Kayture und bekleidet sind bereits dabei und erstellen inspirierende boards.

Fashion Week Poland (Lodz) - First impressions

Mein Plan direkt aus Lodz von der Fashion Week zu berichten ist leider nicht aufgegangen. Ich habe einfach keine Zeit dafür gefunden, da Lynn und Ich den ganzen Tag Shows angesehen haben. Es war wieder einmal ein tolles Erlebnis dabei gewesen zu sein, die Kollektionen für Herbst/Winter 2012/2013 zu sehen, interessante Dinge im Concept Store/Showroom zu entdecken, sich von der Fotografie Austellung inspirieren zu lassen und mit einigen netten Bloggern geredet zu haben. Besonders nett war es mit Evelina. Mit ihr haben wir auch auf der After Show Party Spaß gehabt.

Heute gibt es als Vorgeschmack diesen kleinen Post und ab morgen kriegt ihr Bilder vom Catwalk zu sehen.

Also schaut vorbei, denn es wird viel zu sehen geben.

ENG:  Unfortunately my plan is to report directly from Lodz about the Fashion Week failed. I have found no time for blogging, as Lynn and I have been seeing shows all day. Once again it was a great experience to be there, see the collections for Fall/winter 2012/2013, explore nice stuff in the concept store /showroom, get inspired by the photography exhibition and talk to some bloggers. It was especially nice with Evelina, we have also had fun at the after show party. 

Today there is just a small teaser post and tomorrow you'll get to see the first pictures from the catwalk.
