Grey Mohito

ENG: Living in Trenchcoat-City Hamburg and not owing a single one is almost a crime. I was searching a perfect one for me for a long time. The problem was to find a color I like. Black was too boring, navy to plain and beige too classic. Finally I found this one in Poland in a shop called Mohito. The light grey coat with shiny fabric and silver zipper details is exactly what I was looking for.

By the way, was this was my outfit for Sunday at FashionWeek Poland.

DE: Wenn man in einer Trenchcoat-Stadt wie Hamburg lebt, ist es schon fast ein Verbrechen, keinen zu besitzen. Ich habe mich lange nach einem passenden für mich umgesehen, aber das Problem war immer die Farbe. Schwarz ist mir zu langweilig, beige zu klassisch und Marineblau zu unscheinbar. In Polen habe ich dann bei Mohito diesen grauen Mantel mit leichtem Glanz und silbernen Zippern gefunden. Genau danach habe ich gesucht. Dies war übrigens mein sonntags Outfit für die Fashion Week Poland.

Outfit Day 2 / FashionPhilosophy FW Poland

ENG: My second outfit for Fashion Week Poland was a dress I've sewn on my own and a cap which I also customized with a cross headband. The inspiration for my dress came from Louis Vuitton Spring Summer collection. I fell in love with the geometric print dresses and see-through plaid patterns. I am just not the sweet 60ies type-of-girl, so made the dress with slits up to the hips on both sides and styled it with edgy elements like my boyfriend parka, cross jewelry and my DIY cap. Hope you like how I transfered Louis Vuitton and the geometric trend  into my own style.

DE: Mein zweites Outfit für die Fashion Week Poland war ein Kleid, welches ich genäht habe und eine Cap, die Ich mit einem Kreuz-Stirnband aufgepimpt habe. Die Inspiration für dieses Kleid stammt von der Louis Vuitton F/S Kollektion. Ich habe mich in die Kleider mit geometrischen Prints und vor allem in die durchsichtigen Karos verliebt. Da ich aber kein 60ies style Mädchen bin, habe ich meinem Kleid auf beiden Seiten Schlitze bis zur Hüfte verpasst und es mit meinem Boyfriend Parka, Kreuz-Schmuck und meiner DIY Cap gestylt. Ich hoffe wuch gefällt wie Louis Vuitton und den Geometrie-trend auf meinen Stil übertragen habe.

Black kitty in the city

ENG: Hey, did you all have nice Christmas days? I had a few lazy days with friends and family and now I try to catch up with all the photos I need to show you. There are tons of photos-sessions from the last month I haven't yet posted. So here are photos, which were made in the beginning of November. I wore my brand new sneaker wedges, which I think will be still a trend in 2013.Why? They're super comfortable, they discreetly add a few cm to your height and they're just so cool.

DE: Hey, hattet ihr eine schöne Weihnachtszeit? Ich hatte ein paar schöne Tage mit Freunden und Familie und habe ein wenig gefaulenzt. Nun versuche ich aufzuholen, denn es gibt noch viele, viele Bilder vom letzte Monat die ich euch noch nicht gezeigt habe. Diese Bilder sind Anfang November entstanden. Ich trug meine (damals) Brandneuen Sneakerwedges. Ich bin übrigens überzeugt, dass sich dieser Trend auch 2013 halten wird. Warum? Sie sind superbequem, fügen unauffällig ein paar cm Größe hinzu und sie sind einfach cool.

Make a Statement with eFoxcity

ENG: Do you know this situation, when you put on an outfit, but it needs accessories to look complete? I feel that way almost about every outfit. That’s why I love to add statement jewelry to everything I wear, no matter if it’s a simple or bright and colorful look.

DE: Kennt ihr das, wenn ihr ein Outfit habt, dass ohne Accessoires einfach nicht komplett ist?  Mir geht es bei fast allem so, egal ob der Outfit an sich simpel oder farbenfroh und wild gemustert ist. Deswegen füge ich immer gerne Statement-Schmuck zu meinen Looks hinzu.

Es gibt viele ShopS, bei denen man z.B. Ketten findet, die den Look aufwerten, aber nicht immer stimmt der Preis für so ein Teil. Glücklicherweise habe Ich eFoxcity gefunden. Sequins & Skulls

ENG: Summer is gone for good, but I still have a few summer looks to show you. This one was worn on a really warm and sunny day ( I barely could open my eyes, because of the sunlight).
Today I show you new sequined skirt for the first time. I am so in love with it. It reminds me very much of the little meermaid, but with my skull vest and colorful necklace, this allusion is destroyed to the fullest.

DE: Der Sommer ist nun endgültig vorbei und doch habe ich euch noch einige Sommer Looks zu zeigen. Diesen hier habe Ich, an einem warmen und sonnigen Tag getragen (konnte meine Augen wegen der Sonne kaum offen halten).

Heute zeige ich euch zum ersten Mal meinen Pailletten-rock. Ich finde ihn wahnsinnig toll. Er erinnert mich sehr an die kleine Meerjungfrau, aber mit meinem Totenkopf-top und der bunten Kette, wird diese Verknüpfung hoffentlich zerstört.

Wie gefällt euch übrigens meine aussergewöhnliche Kette? Ich habe sie vom Liameo Online Shop bekommen, von dem ich euch bereits hier erzählt habe. Ihr solltet euch den Shop unbedingt ansehen. Dort findet jeder etwas für sich.

Beware! Vicious baboon!

Der schottische Designer Christopher Kane, brachte im Frühjahr/Sommer 2009 eine Kollektion raus, die ein Kleid mit einem Gorilla Print enthielt. Das Teil wurde zum Verkaufsschlager, voraufhin Kane noch im selben Jahr eine T-Shirt Kollektion auf den Markt brachte mit Prints von diversen Affenarten. Stars wie Rihanna trugen den Look. Nun, ein paar Jahrespäter,  sind die Prints immernoch begehrt und es gibt sie bei Zahlreichen Onlineshops - für weitaus weniger Geld. Ich konnte nicht wiederstehen und habe mir ein Kleid mit einem Pavian bestellt. Wie gefällt es euch?

ENG: The spring/summer 2009 collection from the scottish designer Christopher Kane, included a dress with a gorilla print . This item was a bestseller, so that Kane released a T-shirt collection with prints of various species of monkeys in the same year. Stars like Rihanna wore the look. Well, a few years later, the motives are still cool as ever and are available at numerous online shops - for far less money. I could not resist and I've ordered a dress with a baboon. How do you like?
