Three in one outfit

ENG: Designers like Hérmes, Mary Katrantzou and Alberta Ferretti showed floral prints in their spring / summer 2014 collections, Alexander Wang, Prada and Céline let the models stroll down the catwalk in pleated skirts. Whereas Fendi, Givenchy and Tommy Hilfiger still hold on to the Pantone trend color from 2012 and thus proved that Tangerine Tango can still be worn in summer 2014. 

I couldn't decide which trend I like the most, so I mixed all three and another typical Overdivity outfit was created. A highlight of this look is definitely my new Bree Gröland bag, which can be worn as foldover clutch, cross-body bag or handbag. Thanks to Bree for sending me this wonderful piece!

Ich konnte mich mal wieder nicht entscheiden,welcher Trend mir denn nun am besten gefällt und so habe ich in gewohnter Manier, alles zu einem Overdivity Outfit zusammen gemixt. Das besonderes Highlight dieses Outfits ist meine neue Bree Grönland Tasche, die man sowohl als Clutch, als Umhägetasche oder Handtasche tragen kann. An dieser Stelle nochmal vielen Dank an Bree für das Zusenden dieses tollen Stücks!

Blogger Bazaar Berlin

ENG: The day after the Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards the Blogger Bazaar took place in Berlin. I really liked the event in Hamburg, so I stopped by in Berlin too. Before I met Fiorella and Maria at the nhow Hotel, I practiced sightseeing selfies in Berlin ;) I didn't take man photos at the bazaar itself though. I have celebrated with Julia the night before and unfortunately had to leave the hostel pretty early in the morning, so that tiredness overcame me later and I did not think of taking photos anymore. Like in Hamburg the bazaar was more an event than a flea market: goody bags, cupcakes, champagne, Ice cream, Giveaways, a Dj, and a lot of bloggers selling their stuff. Berlin gets extra points from me for the cool location with rooftop terrace and special guest Kristina Bazan. I had the impression that the atmosphere was a bit better in Hamburg, but maybe I've just missed that, because I had to get back home. I saw a few pictures on other blogs, where it seemed that the bazaar transformed into a party at the end too.

DE: Am Tag nach den Stylight Blogger Awards fand der Blogger Bazaar in Berlin statt. Da ich vom Event in Hamburg begeistert war, schaute ich auch in Berlin vorbei. Bevor ich mich jedoch mit Fiorella und Maria beim nhow Hotel traf, übte ich mich in Berlin noch ein wenig in Sightseeing Selfies ;) Beim Bazaar selbst habe ich dann leider kaum Fotos gemacht. Vielen Dank an Maria für ihre Fotos! Die Nacht davor habe ich mit Julia noch lange gefeiert und musste leider wieder früh aus dem Hostel raus, sodass mich dann doch irgendwann die Müdigkeit überkam und ich nicht mehr dran dachte Fotos zu machen. Wie auch in Hamburg war der Bazaar eher ein Event als ein Flohmarkt: prall gefüllte Goddiebags, Cupcakes, Sekt, Häagen Dazs, Gewinnspiele, ein DJ hinter den Turntables und eine Menge Blogger aus Berlin und Umgebung hinter den Verkaufstischen. Ein großes Plus für den Bazaar in Berlin gibt es für die Location mit der tollen Dachterrasse und den Special guest Kristina Bazan. In Hamburg fand ich dagegen die Stimmung ein wenig besser, aber wie ich auf diversen Blogs gesehen habe, wurde auch in Berlin abends noch ordentlich gefeiert. Da war ich wohl schon auf dem Weg nach Hause.

I'm busy (making statements)

ENG: For Spring 2014 some designers showed sweaters and shirts with statements. The sheer sweatshirts at Alexander Wang had "Parental Advisory. Explicit content" written across the chest, Vivienne Westwood and Kenzo headed in a political direction and used their spring /summer 2014 collection to make people aware of pollution and overfishing. The statements were more playful at Jeremy Scott ("I'm a mess) and Ashish, who obviously found inspiration in Coca Cola.

Since I already developed a weakness for statement beanies (here and here) and Shirts (here), I had no problems to appreciate this new trend. I found this mesh sweater with "I'm busy" logo on sale at H&M and prefer to wear it to work so I can show my employer, that I'm always hardworking ;)

And what statements do you make with your clothes?

DE: Für Frühjahr 2014 zeigten einige Designer Oberteile mit Statementsprüchen. Die transparenten Sweatshirts bei Alexander Wang waren im Brustbereich mit "Parental Advisory. Explicit content" beschriftet,Vivienne Westwood und Kenzo nutzen ihre Frühjahr / Sommer 2014 Kollektion, um die Menschen auf Umweltverschutzung und Überfischung aufmerksam zu machen. Etwas verspieltere Schriftzüge sah man bei Jeremy Scott ("I'm a mess") und auch Ashish, der anscheinend Inspiration an Coca Cola gefunden hat. 

Ich habe bereits eine Schwäche für Aussagekräftige Beanies (hier und hier) und Shirts (hier) entwickelt, da fällt es mir natürlich sehr leicht mich auch mit diesem Trend anzufreunden. Den Meshpullover mit "I'm busy" Schriftzug, habe ich bei H&M im Schlussverkauf ergattert und trage ihn am liebesten zur Arbeit, wo er meinen Arbeitgeber mitteilt, dass ich stets fleißig am arbeiten bin ;)

Roland Bootie Battle

ENG: I participated in the Roland Bottie Battle, where I had to style a pair of biker boots. I decided to wear one of my  fav combos of the last weeks: Leggings and an oversized sweater. Since I am mostly at home lately, sewing for my bachelor, I prefer comfy clothes. I added an oversize fake fur vest against the cold and to get the typical Overdivity look. The 12 best blogger looks can soon be voted for on the Roland Facebook page. 

DE: Ich habe beim Roland Bootie Battle mitgemacht, bei dem es darum ging ein paar Biker Boots zu stylen. Ich habe mich für meine Lieblingskombi der letzten Wochen entschieden: Leggings und Oversize Pullover. Momentan bin ich viel zu Hause an der Nähmaschine und da steht Gemülichkeit an erster Stelle. Gegen die Kälte und für den Overdivity Effekt wird dann einfach noch eine Oversize Fellweste übergeworfen. Die 12 besten Blogger Beiträge zu dem Bootie Battle wird es bald auf der Roland Facebook Seite zu sehen und zum voten geben. Mal sehen ob mein Look dort auch vertreten sein wird.
