Flowery wallpapers, sparklers and a pink bunny

ENG: Maybe you ask yourself, where the connection between old-school flowery wallpaper, sparklers, pink bunny-balloons and a golden dress with baroque pattern is.
I wanted to post the pictures after New Year's Eve (explains the dress and sparklers), but than something else came across and I forgot abou them. Lynn and I did this crazy shooting in the condemned house where we had celebrated New Year's Eve  (explains the dirty floor and wallpapers). I just can't explain how the pink bunny balloon got there ;)
Soon there will be more pictures, we took in that house and also a video, where we got totally freaky.
Oh and yes, since this should have been my New Year's post, I propably should add: Happy New Year :P


DE:Vielleicht fragt ihr euch, wo die Verbindung zwischen altmodischen Blumentapeten, Wunderkerzen, einem pinken Ballonhäschen und einem goldenen Kleid mit Barockmuster liegt. Die Fotos sollten mein Neujahrspost (erklärt das Kleid und die Wunderkerzen) werden, doch dann kam ständig was anderes dazwischen und ich habe sie vergessen. Das verrückte Shooting haben Lynn und Ich in dem Abriss-Haus in dem wir auch Silvester gefeiert haben (das erklärt die Blümchentapete und warum der Boden so versaut ist) gemacht. Wieso ein pinkes Ballonhäschen dabei war, kann ich allerdings nicht erklären ;)
Es folgen bald noch weitere Bilder, die wir dort gemacht haben, sowie ein Video auf dem wir total durchdrehen. Seid gespannt :]
Da dies mein Neujahrspost sein sollte, sollte ich vermutlich ergänzen: Frohes Neues Jahr :P

Made to measure dress

ENG: I love to dress up for an event, especially if the occasion allows me to wear a cocktail dress. I have a few nice party dresses in my wardrobe, but now I have added a really special piece to it. I received my first custom made dressed ever from Msdressy. It's nice to have a dress made with my own measurements.
Msdressy has many prom, evening and cocktail dresses. My favorite category are the celebrity dresses. That's where I found this one-shoulder dress, singer and actress Demi Lovato wore at the American Music Awards. I love the shape of the neckline and the attatched floor-length shawl on one side of the back.
Ps. Check out the message on the soles of my new Zara heels. Isn't that adorable?

DE: Ich mag es mich für ein Event aufzustylen, vor allem wenn der Anlass nach einem Cocktailkleid verlangt. In meinem Schrank finden sich einige tolle Abendkleider, aber nun ist ein ganz besonderes hinzugekommen. Ich habe von Msdressy mein erstes maßgefertigtes Kleid bekommen.
Msdressy hat viele Kleider für besondere Anlässe. Meine Lieblingskategorie sind die Celebrity dresses. Dort habe ich dieses Schulterfreie Kleid entdeckt, welches Sängerin/ Schauspielerin Demi Lovato zu den American Music Awards getragen hat. Mir gefallen die Form des Dekolletés und der am Kleid befestigte bodenlange Schal.
P.S.: Seht euch die tolle Message auf den Sohlen meiner neuen Zara Sandaletten an. Bezaubernd oder?

Happily ever after

ENG: Two weeks ago I was invited to a wedding. I couldn't really decide what to wear. There are a lot of chic coktaildress in my wardrobe, which are waiting for an occasion to be worn. Finally I decided to wear one of my most favourite dresses (I have it in black too) from Lanvin for H&M.

I tried to make my hair curly, but as you can see, when we arrived and took photos, my hairdo fell apart completly.  Nevertheless it was a quite nice evening (though generally I don't really like weddings).

Oh and I wish the freshly married couple all the best, may they live happily ever after.

I am sure I will be, with both of  my Lanvin for H&M dresses.

DE: Vor zwei Wochen war ich zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen. Ich konnte mich nur schwer entscheiden, was ich tragen soll. Es gibt in meinem Kleiderschrank viele schicke Coktailkleider, die auf eine Gelegenheit warten, ausgeführt zu werden. Schließlich entschied ich mich eines meiner Lieblings-Kleider (ich habe es auch schwarz) von Lanvin für H&M. zu tragen 

Ich versuchte locken in mein Haar zu zaubern, aber wie man sieht, fiel meine Frisur schon gleich bei der Ankunft komplett auseinander. Trotzdem war es ein sehr schöner Abend (obwohl ich generell nicht wirklich ein Fan von Hochzeiten bin).

Oh und ich wünsche dem frisch verheirateteten Paar, alles Gute. Mögen sie glücklichen  leben bis ans Ende ihrer Tage. 

Ich werde es sicherlich es sein mit meinen beiden Lanvin for H&M Kleidern.

Prom(ises)

Die, die mir bei Facebook oder Twitter folgen wissen, dass ich am Wochenende auf einen Abiball eingeladen war. Und da ein große Vorliebe für Abibälle habe, bin trotz starker Erkältung hingegangen.

Es hat sich leider gar nicht gelohnt und ich bin ziemlich früh wieder gegangen, so dass ist kein einziges Foto vor Ort entstanden ist (Da mein Maßstab eines tollen Abends gleichzusetzten ist, mit der Anzahl der dort entstanden Fotos, hat dieser Abend für sozusagen gar nicht stattgefunden). Da ich euch mein tolles H&M Schnäppchen Kleid nicht vorenthalten wollte, zeige ich es euch in nicht so toller Fotoqualität vor improvisierter Kulisse. Dafür gibt es morgen Abend auch schon wieder einen neuen Post. Versprochen!

Eine Sache hätte ich fast vergessen. Wenn ich meinen Look einer der beiden Frauen zuordnen müsstet, welche würdet ihr nehmen - Jackie O. oder Audrey Hepburn?

ENG: Those who follow me  on Facebook or Twitter, know that I was invited to a prom last weekend. And because I have a great addiction for proms, I went there despite strong cold. 

It has unfortunately turned out to be not worth at all and I left pretty early, so not a single photo was taken at that place (As my measure of a great evening,is equal, with the number of  photos taken there, this evening has not taken place for me).  

Still I wanted to show you my great new dress I foun on sale at H&M.Please excuse poor quality of the photos and the missing setting.  You can expect a new post with better qualtiy photos tomorrow evening. Promise!

One thing I nearly forgot. If you had to chose one lady, my look reminds you more of, would it be Jackie O. or Audrey Hepburn?

The divided dress

Heute mal wieder Bilder, die schon fast ein halbes Jahr alt sind. Geschossen auf dem Abiball einer Freundin. Es war mal wieder toll und ich hoffe, dass im nächsten Jahr auch wieder eine Einladung zu einem Abiball den Weg zu mir findet.

Das Kleid ist zur Hälft von H&M (die untere Hälfte) und die obere hat meine Oma mir genäht. Ich fand das ursprüngliche Kleid einfach zu langweilig und so haben wir es zerteilt und daraus 2 Kleider gemacht. Das andere seht ihr demnächst auch. Den Lippenstift habe ich mir (damals) neu zugelegt und bin total verrückt nach diesem Farbton. Ich konnte auch bei dieser Gelegenheit nicht auf ihn verzichten, obwohl er mich da sehr blass aussehen ließ.

So und nun mal zurück in die Zukunft: Morgen geht es auf nach Lodz, zur Fashion Week. Ich freue mich schon sehr drauf und werde versuchen diesmal zeitnäher darüber zu posten als sonst ;)

ENG:  Today once again images that are almost half a year old. Taken at the prom of a friend. Once again it was great and I hope that next year, there will an invitation to a prom find it's way to me. 
The dress is half of H & M (lower half) and  half sewn by my grandmother (upper half). I found the original dress just too boring and so I have divided it and made two dresses out of it. The other one you will see soon also. I bought this lipstick back then and I am totally crazy about this color. I wouldn't even let go of it, although in that case it made me look really pale! 
Now back to the future: Tomorrow i'm going to Lodz, Fashion Week. I'm really exicted about it and  I will try to post about the shows, this time a bit more timely than usual;)

The perfect blue (and cream) dress

Ich liebe dieses Kleid!!

Ich habe es speziell für die Hochzeitsfeier einer Freundin designt und meine Oma hat es mir dann genäht. Anfangs sollte es komplett aus dem blauen Stoff bestehen, doch das sah dann sehr madamig aus. Das beige Element verleiht dem ganzen mehr frische und Jugend.

Die Schuhe, die ich dazu trug, gab es damals (als ich mit meinem Blog angefangen habe) bei H&M, allerdings war meine Größe vergriffen. Vor kurzem war ich dann bei einer Freundin und siehe da, diese Prachtschuhe stehen bei ihr im Regal - noch mit dem Etikett dran! Ich beglückwünsche sie zu den tollen Schuhen und schon holt sie diese aus dem Regal und drückt sie mir in die Hand, mit der Aussage, dass sie bei ihr nur weiter einstauben würden.

ENG:  I love this dress!!

I had it specially designed for the wedding of a friend and my grandma made it for me. Initially, it should consist entirely of the blue fabric, but then it looked very old madame-like. The added element makes the whole more fresh and young looking. 

The shoes I wore, were (when I started my blog) available at H&M stores, but my size was sold out. Recently, I was at friend's and saw this beauty stand on her shoes shelf - still with the price-tag! I congratulated her for the great shoes and then she pulls them off the shelf and presses it into my hand, with the statement that they would continue to catchh dust on her shelf, if i didn't take them.

Prom review

Heute kommt der dritte und (vorerst) letzte Post zum Thema Abiball. Ich zeig euch hier die Outfits  der Abibälle auf denen Ich die letzten Jahre war. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Outift vom letzten Jahr. Ich liebe den Hut mit den Federn. 
Ein wenig stolz bin ich auf das selbstgenähte Kleid, welches ich 2008 anhatte. Aber leider wurde die Abifeier an diesem Abend abgesagt und somit habe ich es nur an diesem einen Abend kurz angehabt [vielleicht gibt es ja 2011 noch eine Gelegenheit ;) ].
Ansonsten finde ich, dass man bei TK Maxx und Lipsy London immer mal wieder schöne Cocktailkleider finden kann. Bei Schuhen und Taschen finde ich es immer etwas schwieriger ein passendes Pärchen zu finden, weshalb ich öfter mal selbst was (dran)"gebastelt" habe.

Here is the third and last part Post about proms. I show you all the proms I have been the last years. My personal fav is the one from last year. I love the hat with the feathers.
I am a bit proud of the self-sewn dress I wore 2008. Unfortunately the prom was cancelled and so I wore the dress just this one short evening [maybe there will be an opportunity in 2011 ;) ].
Besides I think you can find nice dress at TK Maxx or Lipsy London. Shoes and bag are a bigger problem. It's hard to find nice matching pairs, that's why I have improved the look of my shoes and bag by "tinkering" very often.
