Send me glasses instead of flowers

ENG: Once again a received a pair of glasses from Firmoo. It is my third pair and I love wearing them, because they are really feather-light and I match them with my looks. Traveling with Cro

ENG: I am wearing a tanktop from a H&M collaboration with german rapper (or correctly raoper = rap + pop) Cro. The Design by Cro Divided collection is available in Germany, Austria and Holland since the beginning of April. Cro, who is known for wearing a Panda mask designed Shirts, Sweatshirts and jute bags with cat motives and millk lettering. As a result the linie has simple shaped clothes, with much hipster potentical. Cro already had two top ten hits, so check out his music, if you don't know him already.

DE: Ich war natürlich nicht mit Cro persönlich unterwegs, sondern mit einem Shirt aus seiner H&M Kollektion. Die für Divided entworfenen Teile hängen seit Anfang April in Deutschland, Österreich und Holland in den Läden. Die Schnitte sind schlicht, dafür sorgen Fotoprints und Muster für einen gewissen Hingucker. Wer glaubt Pandamotive vorzufinden, irrt sich. Cro steht anscheinend auf Katzen, denn die Shirts, Sweatshirts, und Stoffbeutel sind mit Katzenmotiven oder dem Schriftzug Millk bedruckt. Nach erscheinen der Design by Cro Linie wurde sie vielfach als zu Hipster bezeichnet, doch da ist es wie mit Cro's Musik - man liebt sie oder man hasst sie. Und zwei Top Ten Hits sprechen ja irgendwie auch für ihn und eine große Anzahl an Fans.

Glasses are en vogue again

ENG: In fashion trends come and go really quick. This applies to clothes, bag, shoes and to glasses as well.I remember a time, when there was not so much to choose from, when I was looking for a new frame, but luckily time has changed and now there are so many fashionable frames, I barely can decide. And thanks to online stores like Firmoo owning frames in every possible shape and color, to fit all my outfits, is a not an expensive thing anymore.

Sometimes, when I see pictures from people with glasses on Lookbook and other blogs I often think it is thanks to them, that the outfit looks so good, because the choosen frame completes it. This is why I have many colors and shapes of frames, to fit my entire daily looks and moods. Like this new transparent pair I wear, is perfect for laid back looks, because it doesn't steal the attention from the simple look, but still underlines the casual features of it.

DE:  In der Mode kommen und gehen Trends sehr schnell. Das trifft sowohl auf Kleidung, Schuhe und Taschen wie auch auf Brillen zu. Ich errinere mich an eine Zeit, in der ich lange nach schönen und günstigen Brillengestellen gesucht habe. Manchmal, wenn ich Looks bei Lookbook oder anderen Blog sehe, bei denen die Personen Brille trage, wird mir bewusst, dass gerade die Brille manchmal noch das ausschlaggebende Accessoire ist, welches den Look vervollständigt. Darum besitze ich eben viele verschiedene Gestelle, damit sie zu all meinen alltäglichen Looks passen. Little black jacket

ENG: What do Sarah Jessica Parker, Kanye West, Alice Dellal, Milla Jovovich, Anna Wintour and Yoko Ono have in common?

You don’t know? Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to find something .

Karl has worked with Carine Roitfeld and launched a book about the little black jacket:

‘The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’S classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’.

He was the photographer, Carine did the styling and 109 celebrities and people with personality played model. Every person wears the black jacket, but it is styled different on each one and so giving a new view on the jacket or more the wearer and his or her character itself.

Those amazing black and white photographs give an impression of how one piece of clothing can look so different depending on the styling and the person wearing it.

There are a few exhibitions to come in some big cities like Tokyo, Paris or Berlin.

Those who don’t have the option to see it displayed in a museum, have to take a look at the website created especially for the little black jacket.

You will find all the exhibition dates, backstage material and - now comes the best part - you can see all the photographs online. It is called E-experience and lets you browse and look through every photo.

Karl hat mit Carine Roitfeld ein Buch über das kleine schwarze... Jäckchen herausgebracht: ‘The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’S classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’.

Er war der Fotograf und Carine stylte die 109 Stars  und Menschen mit Persönlichkeit, die Model standen. Jede von diesen Personen, trägt das kleine, schwarze Chanel Jäckchen. Dabei ist es bei jedem anderes gestylt und zeigt so neue Perspektiven auf die Jacke und den Träger selbst.

Die wunderschönen schwarz-weiß Fotos zeigen wie ein Kleidungsstück jedes Mal anderes aussehen und wirken kann, je nachdem wer es wie trägt.

Es wird ein paar Ausstellungen in Tokyo, Paris geben. Momentan wird in Berlin ausgestellt. Die unter euch, die nicht hinfahren können, haben die Möglichkeit alle Bilder auf der Website der little black jacket anzusehen. Zudem findet ihr Backstage-Material, Making-of-Videos und natürlich alle Bilder, die auch im Buch bzw. der Ausstellung gezeigt werden.
