Railway to New York

ENG: I found another photo shoot on my restored hard disc, which I didn't have the chance to show you yet. It has been quite a while. The summer hasn't even started and you can still see the noble winter paleness on my legs :P

I just had to show them, because even it was the first time I took pictures with my friend, they turned out really good. Ever since he had to serve as a photographer more frequently.

DE: Ich habe auf meiner wiederhergestellten Festplatte noch weitere Bilder gefunden, die ich bisher noch nicht gezeigt habe. Es ist schon eine ganze Weile her. Da hatte der Sommer noch gar nicht richtig angefangen und man sieht meinen Beinen noch die noble Winterblässe an :P

Ich muss die Bilder einfach zeigen, denn obwohl es das erste Mal war, dass dieser Freund Bilder von mir gemacht hat. Und da mir die Bilder so gut gefallen haben, muss der Freund nun 

häufiger mal als Fotograf herhalten.

Ain't No Wifey

ENG: Since I have spotted Cara Delevingne with a Ain't No Wifey top, I wanted to have one too, but instead of a top I have ordered a beanie from Choies.

If you want a statement beanie too, you should prepare yourself for the fact that people will throw you confused glances or address you. This happens to me quite often. Some like to know what the saying means, others interpret it themselves. An elderly lady on the train for example thought that I 'm desperately seeking a man, who wants to marry me and she tried to console me by saying that I 'm still young.

I was also amused by a girl who asked her friend if she knew a brand called Ain't No Wifey.

If you want to sweeten your life with these and similar stories, you can check if in the suggestions at the bottom of this post, there is a beanie with a matching statement or word. DE: Seit ich Cara Delevingne mit einem Ain't no wifey Top gesichtet habe, wollte ich auch ein solches haben. Statt eines Tops habe ich mir allerdings eine Beanie bei Choies bestellt.

Wenn man sich für eine Mütze mit Schriftzug entscheidet, sollte man sich darauf gefasst machen, dass die Menschen auf der Straße einen ansprechen oder zumindest irritiert ansehen. Das passiert mir ziemlich oft mit dieser Mütze. Einge möchten wissen, was der Spruch bedeutet, andere interpretieren  es einfach es selbst. So zum Beispiel eine ältere Dame in der Bahn , die es so verstand, dass ich verzweifelt auf Ehemannsuche bin und mich trösten wollte, dass ich noch jung bin und genug Zeit habe einen Mann zu finden.

Amüsant fand ich auch ein Mädchen in der Bahn, die einen Blick auf die den Schriftzug warf und ihre Freundin fragte ob sie die Marke Ain't no wifey kenne.

Wer sich den Alltag durch solche und ähnliche Geschichten versüßen möchte, kann nachschauen ob er unter den Vorschlägen ganz unten bei diesem Post eine Beanie mit passendem Spruch oder ein Wort findet. Falls nichts dabei ist kann man sich eine solchen Mütze bedrucken oder besticken lassen. Das habe ich auch gemacht, mit einem Spruch den ich toll finde. Glasses are en vogue again

ENG: In fashion trends come and go really quick. This applies to clothes, bag, shoes and to glasses as well.I remember a time, when there was not so much to choose from, when I was looking for a new frame, but luckily time has changed and now there are so many fashionable frames, I barely can decide. Sometimes, when I see pictures from people with glasses on Lookbook and other blogs I often think it is thanks to them, that the outfit looks so good, because the choosen frame completes it. This is why I have many colors and shapes of frames, to fit my entire daily looks and moods. Like this new transparent pair I wear, is perfect for laid back looks, because it doesn't steal the attention from the simple look, but still underlines the casual features of it.

DE:  In der Mode kommen und gehen Trends sehr schnell. Das trifft sowohl auf Kleidung, Schuhe und Taschen wie auch auf Brillen zu. Ich errinere mich an eine Zeit, in der ich lange nach schönen und günstigen Brillengestellen gesucht habe. Little black jacket

ENG: What do Sarah Jessica Parker, Kanye West, Alice Dellal, Milla Jovovich, Anna Wintour and Yoko Ono have in common?

You don’t know? Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to find something .

Karl has worked with Carine Roitfeld and launched a book about the little black jacket:

‘The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’S classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’.

He was the photographer, Carine did the styling and 109 celebrities and people with personality played model. Every person wears the black jacket, but it is styled different on each one and so giving a new view on the jacket or more the wearer and his or her character itself.

Those amazing black and white photographs give an impression of how one piece of clothing can look so different depending on the styling and the person wearing it.

There are a few exhibitions to come in some big cities like Tokyo, Paris or Berlin.

Those who don’t have the option to see it displayed in a museum, have to take a look at the website created especially for the little black jacket.

You will find all the exhibition dates, backstage material and - now comes the best part - you can see all the photographs online. It is called E-experience and lets you browse and look through every photo.

Karl hat mit Carine Roitfeld ein Buch über das kleine schwarze... Jäckchen herausgebracht: ‘The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’S classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’.

Er war der Fotograf und Carine stylte die 109 Stars  und Menschen mit Persönlichkeit, die Model standen. Jede von diesen Personen, trägt das kleine, schwarze Chanel Jäckchen. Dabei ist es bei jedem anderes gestylt und zeigt so neue Perspektiven auf die Jacke und den Träger selbst.

Die wunderschönen schwarz-weiß Fotos zeigen wie ein Kleidungsstück jedes Mal anderes aussehen und wirken kann, je nachdem wer es wie trägt.

Es wird ein paar Ausstellungen in Tokyo, Paris geben. Momentan wird in Berlin ausgestellt. Die unter euch, die nicht hinfahren können, haben die Möglichkeit alle Bilder auf der Website der little black jacket anzusehen. Zudem findet ihr Backstage-Material, Making-of-Videos und natürlich alle Bilder, die auch im Buch bzw. der Ausstellung gezeigt werden.
